THE WORLD REFERENCE STABILITY ANALYZER
TurbiscanLAB enables fast and sensitive identification of destabilization mechanisms (such as creaming, sedimentation, flocculation, coalescence...). A temperature-controlled measurement cell allows either stability monitoring at specific storage temperatures or accelerating destabilization process. TurbiscanLAB can be used in both R&D and QC labs for development and routine control of raw materials and final product formulations. The instrument not only detects stability evolution at an early stage, up to 200 times faster compared to visual testing but also quantifies global formula alteration with TSI scale.
Key Differences
WIDE CONCENTRATION RANGE
TurbiscanLAB analyzes sample stability without dilution or mechanical stress. Concentrations up to 95% can be characterized in their native state giving a unique insight to particle migration and size variation.
MEASUREMENT OF STABILITY & SIZE
> Quantitative monitoring of dispersion stability
> Shelf life & long term stability analysis
> Migration velocity
> Aggregation & agglomeration kinetics
> Mean diameter
> Dispersibility ratio
> Volume fraction
ACCELERATED AGING CONDITIONS
Temperature control up to 60°C offers the possibility to speed up measurement time and observe destabilization in real usage and storage conditions. TURBISCAN technology is up to 200 times faster than traditional visual tests.
TURBISCAN STABILITY INDEX
TSI scale provides a single value to rapidly asses and rank formulation stability independently on occurring phenomena. It is now possible to evaluate sample stability with just one number.
