The NIRS XDS MasterLab Analyzer enables the rapid, nondestructive analyses of solid-state dosage forms such as tablets, capsules, film-coated tablets, gel tablets and gel capsules for manufacturers in the pharmaceuticals industry. Solids in vials can also be analyzed with the NIRS XDS MasterLab Analyzer. The analysis takes place in reflection or transmission mode. The sample input proceeds via a sample slide that can be moved in x and y direction and that is designed for trays with several tablets and/or vials. Analyses of individual samples are optimized with an iris. An optionally available coarse granular sample cell for coarse granular substances extends analysis to include practically all solid forms ranging from fine powders to coarse granular materials, e.g., pellets and flakes.

The NIRS XDS RapidLiquid Analyzer enables rapid, precise analyses of liquid formulations and substances. Precise measurement results at the push of a button make the NIRS XDS RapidLiquid Analyzer an equally reliable and simple solution for quality monitoring in laboratories and processes. The samples are transferred to quartz cuvettes designed for multiple use or disposable glass vials; a tempered sample compartment ensures reproducible analysis conditions and thus accurate measurement results.

Robust measuring system for monitoring the reactions of liquids in the technical center and pilot plants

The NIRS XDS Transmission OptiProbe Analyzer enables efficient determination of the composition of aqueous products, clear liquids, solvents, and viscous samples. The instrument is equally suitable for use in technical centers or for at-line applications when upscaling production processes. NIRS disposable glass vials are available for viscous samples, keeping cleaning costs to a minimum. The optional NIRS VialHeater enables analysis of samples at temperatures of up to 200 °C.

The NIRS XDS Interactance OptiProbe Analyzer enables the simple and reliable monitoring of chemical reactions in technical centers and pilot plants. The method development and the scale-up of production processes are areas of application in which the NIRS XDS Interactance OptiProbe Analyzer supplies precise results regarding the identity and quality of a wide variety of samples. Whereas solids, strongly scattering liquids and slurries are measured with the reflection probe, the immersion probe is used to analyze aqueous products, clear liquids and solvents. The probe is connected to the analyzer through an optical fiber to enable secure measurements even under rough and/or dangerous conditions in the processing environment.

Rapid, nondestructive analyses of solid and liquid substances.

The NIRS XDS RapidContent Analyzer enables rapid, nondestructive analyses of solid powders, coarser granulates, pellets or flakes.

Composition or material identification testing is performed either in the laboratory or at-line, on samples contained in their original packaging, bags or vials. An optional variable spot-size feature enables the sample illumination to be adjusted based on the physical properties of your samples.

The measurement of liquid samples succeeds through the addition of the NIRS Transflection Kit for liquid samples (order number: 6.7400.010).

The sample is centered with the aid of the NIRS XDS iris (order number: 6.7425.000), thus enhancing the reproducibility of the analysis.

Versions with built-in mobile sample slides in X or XY direction are also available and are used to investigate larger, nonhomogenous sample quantities or for the automated investigation of samples in vials or tablets in reflection.

With the NIRS XDS SmartProbe Analyzer, the identity and quality of a substance can be determined directly in the respective original transport containers, no matter whether it be bottles, bags or other containers. The design, which is just as robust as it is ergonomic, makes the NIRS XDS SmartProbe Analyzer the ideal quality control solution, both in the warehouse and in the laboratory. Using the NIRS XDS SmartProbe Analyzer could not be easier. The measurement is taken by holding the probe in the sample and pressing the measurement button. Pass/fail results can be read off on the handle immediately after the measurement.
